2010: COLLAGE OF MY THOUGHTS

The Nature of Change

Once anger is calm and forgiveness is given, the actions and words remain. This doesn’t mean there must be resentment or revenge, but relationships are forever changed. This is where acceptance takes root. Even with acceptance, love never dies—it only transforms.

The Internal Conflict

There is a conflict within me—one of resistance and struggle.

I am sad yet happy.

Angry yet forgiving.

Empty yet fulfilled.

Heartless yet compassionate.

Hopeless yet filled with hope.

Lost yet found by God.

Honest yet secretly hiding.

Bold yet shy.

Lonely yet surrounded by the world and God.

Needing yet giving.

Unloved yet loved.

These contradictions are endless. Finding compromise, understanding, and acceptance—allowing oneself to feel what is good and release what isn’t—this is the path to inner peace. It is a journey without end.

A Craving for More

What is this feeling pulling at my soul—deep, unexplained?

A craving for something beyond what life offers.

The other side taunts me, existing in perfect harmony.

Life must be fulfilled, lessons learned, and perhaps one day,

I will exist in that perfect harmony… infinitely…

Beyond space and time, for all eternity.

Rethinking Normalcy

What happens when human nature changes—when some evolve beyond what is classified as “normal”?

Should our definitions shift?

How would you feel if what is now “normal” became the minority, and you became the outcast?

Something to ponder…

A World of Peace

If I could escape, even for a day,

I would run far, far away…

To a world of peace and understanding,

Where miracles happen and dreams come true.

A place where acceptance flows freely,

With no judgment—only love, compassion, and serenity.

That is where I would want to be.

My Own World

No, thank you—

I rather enjoy living in MY OWN world!

But hey, you are welcome to join me there!

The Love of My Life

The love of my life is a little girl named Heavannah.

The day she was born, I finally found the unconditional love I had always searched for.

Mommy loves you, T.I.F.E.—always and forever.

The Power of Choice

The decisions we make determine our outcomes.

Consequences are inevitable.

Regret only exists if no lessons are learned.

It’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel sometimes,

but it is always there—waiting to be found.

Astounding Ourselves

“If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.” —Thomas A. Edison

I hope to astound myself as often as possible.

Nothing is out of reach—only as far as you are willing to stretch your potential.

I pray every day for the strength and courage to strive for a better tomorrow.

On Perfection

What is perfection?

It can be summed up in one word: JESUS.

We are imperfect beings, yet we should never stop striving for perfection.

If we asked, What Would Jesus Do? before making decisions, perhaps we’d make better choices.

We are all unique—each born with a gift.

Through God, we can discover and nurture it.

Sometimes, He chooses the most unlikely candidates—so be open to others.

Processing My Thoughts

Maybe my writing is my brain’s way of processing my bad decisions.

Especially when I know better and truly want to do better.

But if I didn’t think the way I do,

I might not have survived the consequences of my past choices.

Like fine wine, I just keep getting better with time.

After all, we all make mistakes—it’s how we handle the aftermath that defines us.

The Cycle of Life

Children are the beginning of the human experience.

The elderly are the end.

We learn from both—

How we start, how we evolve, how we finish.

Is the slate really clean when we are born?

Or are we wired with potential struggles, waiting for activation through experience?

It’s not Nature vs. Nurture—it’s Nature AND Nurture, shaping our journey.

The first five years are critical in forming personality,

but experiences at any stage can reshape us.

Through life, we gain control.

And in our later years, we may lose it again.

Ask yourself:

“How do I want to remember my life?”

“Did I take control and accept responsibility for my choices?”

“What knowledge and wisdom did I gain in my unique human experience?”

Ultimately, we are in control of how we perceive and live our lives.

Happiness is a choice—even in life’s toughest challenges.

Intentions Matter

Intentions are the root of all things.

They define a person’s core.

So, what are your true intentions?

True enlightenment begins when you become aware of your motivators in life.

On Mistakes

“Do not fear mistakes. There are none.” —Miles Davis

Mistakes don’t exist when you realize that without them,

we wouldn’t learn the lessons they bring.

It’s all about perception.

The Power of Love

Embrace your enemies with LOVE—because love conquers all.

Judgment & Spirituality

I believe reading the Bible should be a soulful, enlightening experience.

It’s heartbreaking to see how the word of God is misused.

Some use it to judge and condemn—

Forgetting that Jesus, our Savior, was made of love

And showed love to all, without judgment.

“Love thy neighbor as thyself.”

It was never a conditional statement.

Equality for All

Everyone deserves equality.

It’s time to put aside prejudice and discrimination.

Throughout history, these things have consumed even good people.

When has prejudice ever served a higher purpose?

NEVER.

The path to God is not through negativity toward others.

It is through love and compassion—

The ties that bind us all to Him.

Planting Seeds

Plant seeds.

Some may take longer to grow.

Some may never grow at all.

But all we can do is plant the seeds and let God do the rest.

Final Thoughts

I do not aim to change minds—only to broaden them.

LAUGH. LOVE. LIVE.

If I can laugh often, love with all my heart, and live without regret,

I believe happiness will follow.

Self-discovery is my journey.

God, guide me through this life and grant me higher spiritual awareness.

My life is a journey to You.
